Young America Capital

Firm history

Built to bring broader market access to growing and middle-market companies.

Young America Capital was founded by CPA and entrepreneur Peter Formanek. The firm traces its origins to Family Office Advisor, which he launched in 2000 to serve family offices and alternative investment funds across accounting, venture capital, private equity, and real estate advisory work.

YAC was established a decade later with the aim of bringing Wall Street-caliber investment banking services to early-stage and middle-market companies. In 2013, the firm expanded with a third-party marketing and placement-agent group serving alternative investment managers in the United States and Europe.

Mr. Tobin within the platform

The firm behind Mr. Tobin’s advisory work.

Stanley Tobin has worked with Young America Capital since 2011. Through the firm, he advises privately held business owners on company sales and related M&A assignments while drawing on YAC’s transaction infrastructure, sector specialists, and relationships across strategic buyers, financial sponsors, family offices, and credit providers.

That combination allows Mr. Tobin to remain directly involved with an owner while bringing the resources and market reach of a broader investment banking platform to the engagement.
